Easter Is On It’s WAY!!!!!

Whoa!!! Do you realize that Easter is only nine days away?!!!  How are you all doing on your Easter plans? Do you have your table figured out, and your menu planned?

Today I felt like I needed a little bit of push to really get going on my Easter plans. I looked at some of the images I had saved for inspiration and they really helped me get in the mood for Easter.

The natural color of blue and green eggs would make a soothing color scheme for an Easter table……….

A fun metal basket filled with shade plants and dotted with pretty blue eggs. This is so simple and can be used after the Easter holiday.

This is just fun!!! By keeping a tight color scheme this arrangement has more punch. Orange is a favorite of so many and not usually a color used at Easter. What if you had a table using the softer side of orange, yellow and pink and a pop of lime green?

Again, a simple but fun table for Easter. Notice the baby carrots at each place setting?

I loved this image using balloons as molds to make over-sized lace eggs. Can you imagine making these in different sizes, and have them hanging over an all white Easter table? Oh my!! That would be amazing.

I love design that is probably obvious by the fact that I write a design blog!! From time to time I will write about skin care/make-up and even wardrobe items.

I have been using this product for just a little over two weeks and I can say it has changed the texture of my skin enough for me to tell the difference. I put it on in the morning and at night before I put on my moisturizer, so simple and natural!!!

My Cheap Spring Fix!!!!

I am like the rest of you when it comes to Spring I come up with all kinds of projects in my busy little mind. Some projects are big and some are just small weekend projects.

The only problem with projects is there never seems to be enough time and money at the same time.

There are other ways we can bring Spring into our homes with every day items we can pick up at the grocery store. Let’s face it if you have a family you area always at the grocery store.

There is nothing prettier than a bowl of produce on the counter. Look for your prettiest bowl in a pretty color or even in a cream or white and add produce and it will brighten your kitchen. Stylist do it all the time.

I took a trip to Trader Joe’s today and I bought some fresh produce and some flowers and I am one happy camper.

 

 

 

Have you ever purchased daffodils from Trader Joe’s? They are sold in rubber band bundles. The flowers are not even open, and they are not in water, they are just laying there actually looking quite limp. You snip off the ends and put them in water when you get home and Voila! tomorrow morning they will be all opened up just smiling at me!!! I love that!!

The smell of stock is heavenly and it makes my whole kitchen smell like Spring! Be sure to change the water daily the water tends to sour pretty quickly.

I just wanted to make you smile on Monday!!! I hope this did the trick~!!
