My Fall Kitchen Is Wearing A Halloween Disguise

This year my kitchen will be wearing a Halloween costume!

It has decided to wear a fake mustache. I thought I had better warn you, just in case you do not recognize it!….

The vintage cutting board was brought back out to warm it up for the upcoming cooler weather.

I am enjoying my new hand towel in black and white stripes.

Ornamental Kale is just the right texture, and green for my kitchen.

The dipped in black and cream planter is just the right container to hold the Kale. You will notice the little letter “P,” I have had that for years.

If you take a look inside the cupboards you will see a few more “P’s” !

I get lots of good light coming in my kitchen window.

Across from the kitchen is my dining room. I like to keep it simple by adding an urn and a big green pumpkin for the Fall…………..

Hey, Kathysue -
Looking good! I've been meaning to ask this: are the stripes in your dining room painted or is the room wallpapered? I like the scale....they are not too wide or narrow. If you get a chance, could you please let me know the width of each stripe? Many thanks!

Your moustache is perfect and very apt as November in Australia is now called 'Movember' and men are encouraged to grow a moustache to raise money and/or awareness of Prostate cancer and male mental illness. Perfect.

I love all your fall additions. I've been looking at lots of blogs to find some decorating ideas for this time of year. I love your green pumpkin. I got some great ideas from Simply Decorate's Interior Design Blog. You should see the pumpkins on their site. Even though I work for them, I could honestly say their decorating tips are the best. You should check them out.
