If I Were Kate Spade!!! I would……

If I were Kate Spade I would……….Let me start from the beginning.

It all started with this dress!……..

1 (325x407)
Does this look like Spring or what? I love, love this dress and I must say if I were younger and thinner, I think this would be hanging in my closet. Okay maybe not younger, but I definitely would need to be thinner. However  that is a whole other show!

2 (320x306)
Back to what I was saying. It all started with this dress and I started thinking that if I were Kate Spade, “What are some of the things that I would have in my life that look very Kate Spade-ish to me?”

If I were Kate Spade I would look for a house in a town that looked like this……

1 (550x400)

My house would definitely have one of these in my back yard…….

2 (554x482)

I would also have to have one of these in my backyard …..

I would of course have lots and lots of colorful flowers so I would be spending lots of time in here………..

After cutting and potting my colorful flowers I would make one of these for inside my colorful home……

Of course I would have to share some of my lovely, colorful flowers with my neighbors, so I would  hop on one of these and go visiting………

I had so much fun pretending to be Kate Spade and think in Technicolor.

I thought this might bring a Spring smile to your face!!

I just love all of the bright colors this spring!! I'm 57 and I would wear this dress in a minute...but because of the horitzontal stripes I also might want to be thinner....it is an adorable dress. Maybe in a solid bright color, I could do it now!!

Beautiful pics! I'm drooling over that gorgeous 5th pic! Talk about a dream space! It takes the potting shed concept and puts it to shame. Thanks for sharing.

Love it! You could give Kate some good advice, that small garden house filled with flowers...unreal! Love the dogs, the flowers, the whole Kate Spade vibe...so fresh and alive!

Kathysue,
This might be one of my favorite posts that you've done! Or maybe it's that I so desperately want spring to be here and you've captured the elements of spring in this post? Whatever it is I love this post! I've always thought it would be so much fun to have a tropical house on an island that was pink, so that row of colorful homes made me smile! Riding my bike is one of my favorite summer activities!

I loved both dresses, the first one and the one of the lady on the bike. Wouldn't that be lovely to live in a world like that. Close our eyes and dream. To have a greenhouse like that~
I am going to say goodbye now and dream.....

I love this post! What a great way to start my (very long) day! The dress is adorable, but horizontal stripes = big NO for me LOL. That bucket of flowers is just perfection. Thanks for the morning wake up. Hugs, Kat

All those colorful stripes reminding me of that fruit stripes gum from when I was a kid. Do they even still make that? ;-) Lisa
