Which Fabric Would You Choose?? !!!

These are the existing fabrics I am going to use in the playroom.

All the  fabrics are for pillows except for the large polka dot and that will be in the form of a curtain. The solid green is the wall color, Martha Stewart’s lemon grass. The navy striped fabric is for when the boys are here and the bright pink floral is for when I have a little girl visiting here.

Below are the samples I have chosen to consider for a large cushion. One of the fabrics below will be right next to the large navy polka dot.

Depending on which fabric I choose it will have a cord welting trim in either the white or one of the greens.

I will also add a touch of this fabric in the form of a pillow so the color and print will be elsewhere in the room.

Now for the fun part!!
Which fabric would you choose for the cushion and which fabric for the cord welting?

There are no right or wrong answers, so just choose which one or one’s you like the best  to coordinate with the large  navy polka dot fabric.  Please leave a comment to tell me. It will be fun to see all the different opinions!!

I'll play, since there's no wrong answers. :)

I'd go with either the Robert Allen Tupper Island Seaglass with the last fabric sample for the cording or the Outdura Capri Nautical with the Robert Allen Simple Plaid Leaf for the cording.

You really can't go wrong. I love all of your fabric choices.

I would think that the safest would be the Stony River Marine...but it might not be the prettiest.(-:

Oh I like plaids and stripes with polka dots, so I would pick the blue polka dot for the pillow and then the green plaid for the piping. How fun. Can't wait to see it all done. Hugs, Marty

I would choose the Robert Allen Baron Lake Marine for the cushion and the last green for the welt. Or, I would use the Outdura Incline Natural White for the welt and keep it classic. Can't wait to see what you end up doing and how the whole room turns out. I know it will be lovely! ~Delores

I'm going with Tupper Island, Marine with the darker green welting! Go big or go home...so they say! I know you're having fun with this room!

For me, 100% the Robert Allen Baron Lake in Marine for the cushion and welting in the last fabric. My reasons? The stripe is crisp and clean and goes with the feel of the other fabrics, the green of the welt is just a bit 'off' and brighter (or appears in the photos) from the other fabrics which will make it fun and less "matchy-match" I am looking forward to seeing this room completed ;)

I didn't read the comments before because I didn't want them to sway my choice. I love the second one the broad stripe, or the green apple color fabric. Depends on how safe you want to play it. I think the apple green would be a long lasting one. More visual contrast and two different textures visually.

Blessings,
Shelley

Oak Iskand Cinder for the cushions and CS-LV19N for the welting. Traditional with a pop of color! Oohhh I just love these "What would you do posts!" I know whatever you pick is going to be fabulous girlfriend! You're a color master! Vanna

I would use the Baron Lake Marine for the cushion and either the last green or White for the welt. I must admit, I kind of like the idea of the green plaid for the welt too.
I can't wait to see your choice! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures.

I like the wider blue and white stripe fabric. If it was only a boys space I'd do the plaid welting, but with the girls there too sometimes I'd go with a solid-plaid just seems more like a boy friendly print, maybe because my daughter hates plaid?

I love all of these fabrics Kathysue. I think I would go with the Baron Lake Marine with the last green for the welting. Although I really like the seaglass too. But it might be that I love the name LOL. Have fun! Kat
