Finding a New Favorite!!

First I fell in love with a room, then after going to the designers website I fell in love with the designer's work.

I was amazed that there was not one project that she designed that I did not feel was spot-on!!

There were some that were a bit dark for me or maybe not my own personal color choice, but the designs were impeccable.

Her use of color, symmetry, and just her fresh take on traditional design was right up my alley.

This is one designer that I would not be afraid to turn over my own home too. Coming from me that is a huge deal.(Okay I have a few control issues!)

The designer I am so enamoured with is Elizabeth Dinkel. In some of my researching for other post I ran upon her rooms more than once and was taken aback at how much I loved them.

I would like to share some of her wonderful work on my blog today. To see it all be sure and visit her web-site. You will truly enjoy your visit there, I promise!!

No question why I love this so much!! Black and white diamond floor and just look at the gorgeous wallpaper in the dining room. I love this sooooo much!!

Perfect in every way.

3 (400x266)

2 (397x600)

5 (400x265)
Love the striped X bench at the end of the twin beds. The brightly campaign chest is just the right pop for the room. Did you notice the adorable giraffe wall lights?

7 (214x320)
The flame stitch wallpaper is so classic.

8 (262x400)

10 (283x425)
I really like the arched top treatment over the roman shade.

13 (560x465)
Timeless for a boys room.

11 (405x632)
I loved this image and did not realize it was done by Elizabeth Dinkel. I had it in my files because of the wallpaper.

12 (418x632)
So elegant!

18 (500x333)
Her use of cameo pink is just beautiful.

15 (600x399)

16 (499x674)
The beautiful tile back splash gives this kitchen such a soft look.

I hope you have enjoy Elizabeth Dinkel’s work as much as I have.

Kathysue - great pick!! I love her work as well. I haven't visited her site for a while so this is the impetus to head on over there after I write this. And so funny - am considering either this Cowtan and Tout Bamboo or the Baldwin Bamboo wallpaper for my powder room off the family room!

I really want to stencil a wall now. I wonder if my landlord will mind?

She does beautiful work & it definitely looks like your style! The entryway is my favorite, but I really like what she did with the maps as wallpaper in the boys room! I will have to file that one away.

I love every single image, too. Seriously. Gorgeous work. But I have to say, how much space does one really need in a bathroom? The cameo pink one could fit 2 sofas :) Thanks for sharing this, what a great dream!

I, too, would turn my entire house over to Elizabeth - love her pops of color and use of pattern!

I have to agree with you, that wallpaper in the dining room is so fresh and airy yet inviting, I love it! And I also really enjoyed your pics from the playroom post, I've wanted to do some bookcases surrounding my kids' bedroom windows for quite some time, with a window seat underneath. It's just so inviting and traditional looking. You've always got great ideas!! Lisa ;-)

I love her work, and had heard her name, but there were definitely a few images that I have posted on my blog not knowing that they are hers. Her style is fresh - traditional with a twist - and she is not afraid to take chances, which I love.

I love her work as well. One of the window seats you have above is from a bedroom she did for a showhouse. This room was what convinced me I want grasscloth in my master bedroom. Love that kitchen too....the pop of yellow makes me smile!

I am crazy about her work, would let her work on my house any day of the week...and I'd even leave.
