" Spring Sampling"

Here is just a sampling of Spring from Half Moon Bay, California.  I needed some flowers for my front flower bed.  I thought I would not only buy flowers but take a nice drive down the coast to a favorite nursery of mine in Half Moon Bay with my Hubby. Here are just a few of the beauties we saw. The picture of the cart is what I took home to plant. I also got some fresh cut flowers to put in a couple of vases at home . I love fresh flowers, don't you?

Hope you enjoyed just a small sampling of all the beautiful flowers I got to see in Half Moon Bay. Time with my Hubby, Ocean and Flowers! It doesn't get much better than this.

I am so jealous, we are slowly sliding into winter here and I am not looking forward to it. I am so over cold weather! Enjoy your spring...love the flowers and maybe if I follow along I can enjoy your summer with you and for a few moments each night pretend i am not freezing.

That sounds really wonderful, and the pics are just gorgeous! We still have snow, it's depressing.

I just finished a post for tomorrow about spring flowers too, I think we really need them this year and can hardly wait to get digging. Happy Planting!

I love that last picture...the colors, the textures, the cabbage thing...what is that? I am more than ready for something to bloom here. It is in the 60's today (although we will still get another snow more than likely) so I'm enjoying the moment!

Kathysue, I didn't realize you are in my "neck of the woods!" I'm actually going over the hill to HMB today for flowers. My every three months trek to HMB Nursery on 92 and then to Nurseryman's Exchange. We should meet up sometime for coffee! Hope you are enjoying the nice weather and planting your flowers.

My email is public on my blog, so I get a lot of email from followers who don't want to leave comments on the blog. My computer won't let me email other bloggers from their profile either. Weird. So anyway, since it is already public, here is my email: deloresarabian@hotmail.com.
Original huh?

Hi Kathysue! Beautiful spring flowers! I love the arrangement in your green pitcher! No spring here! Well...we do have a few buds, but it will be the norm if we have one last freeze and they all get killed! :-( Sooo...I enjoyed your little peek at some colorful flowers! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie

Hi Kathysue! I just love all these flowers, so pretty. Things are starting to bud and bloom here, the wildflowers should be grand this year from all the rain - I can't wait! Love, love, love that green pitcher. Hugs, Kat

Seeing that cart filled with flowers really gets me excited! I won't be doing that until Mothers day weekend, its the safe time to plant in my zone 5.
