Simple and Easy Ideas!!!


Once in awhile I run across something that I think is really a good idea. I thought I would show you a few ideas that were new to me. I like to find things that I can implement in my own home.

I figured if I could use some of these ideas then you might like them also………

I love this idea. A bag clip and coffee scoop all in one, genius!!



Next time I have a bathroom vanity built I am going to have this installed!!

Since I am on the subject of cabinet doors take a look at this genius camouflage of 1970’s cabinet doors. Next time my kitchen needs repainting I am going to have hubby do this before the painting!



If you need more bathroom storage try this easy to do project. We all have room between the 4in. studs in the wall!

I don’t know about you all, but I hate cords showing. Sometimes the simplest ideas are so obvious once we see them. This idea was one of those ideas where I said, “Now why didn’t I think of that?!”


Speaking of cords made me think about lights.  Check out these fun hanging lights.  Wouldn’t these be fun in a boys room or a den?


How about these fun lights for outside?…..

Thinking about outside made me think I need to get off of the computer and go and do some watering before it gets too hot!!

    Those are all great ideas. I love the one of the simple expansion bar under the sink to hold those spray bottles. Can it get any easier than that? xo Diana

    Kathysue, my husband is going to ban me from your blog if you keep giving me ideas :) I love the blowdryer holder thinga-ma-bob! I also agree that less is more. I love clean and airy spaces with a little pop of color scattered about. Until tomorrow...enjoy

    Those ideas are fantastic! I am always annoyed by cords, and use tape to hold them up, attached to the back of the desk, etc. I also would LOVE the drawer with the space for the hairdryer. Any ideas for Lego and mini princess shoe storage? :)

    So many terrific ideas, but the one that really struck me was the cord solution, because cords make me NUTS! I hate them and am always feeling like after all the inventions with techonology they can't come up with a decent remedy for something as simple as a bunch of tangled wires and cords!!!!!!!!! Excellent ideas...thanks!

    This is EXACTLY what I needed right now!!! Especially as I just cleaned out all the bottles and things from under our sink when I realized we have had a leak for some time now. Grrrrrrrr...
    The rod with the bottles hanging is brilliant!!! Would have save a lot of work for me if ours had been hanging like that!!! We will be doing that one!!!

    Oh I am so envious of the bathroom drawer with those round holders. Hmm. now I am thinking! And I adore the globe lights. Might have to work those in to grady's room.

    All great ideas - I have thought about doing the hairdryer in the drawer before - just like at the salon!! I have actually done the wall cabinet between the studs - it works out perfectly!! The idea for the cabinet doors is brilliant - as you say, so simple! I have also done the cord trick - and another is to hang screw in hooks underneath the cabinet and wind the wire around them!
