One of those “DAYS!”

untitled (400x265)

Do you ever have one of those days when you look around your home and everywhere you look there is something to re-do or clean-up?!

I usually get in this mood with the change of the seasons. Since it is now officially Fall in California, I am in a mood.

I guess I should just re-group prioritize and dive in!!
What do you do when this kind of mood hits you?

“Enjoy the Process” (If you can) Of:

Getting it all pulled together around the house!

  1. yes and i hate that feeling! - it's 1 of 2 things - i go and tackle the project and don't stop till it's all done - or i leave the house and go out!

  5. Seems as though it tires me out more to look at it than it does to just do it, so I usually just dive in. Love the pic. Hope you have a super weekend and enjoy all the company. Hugs, Marty

  8. I think anyone who doesn't have a day like this, once is a while, is telling porkies ;)
The trick is to keep just one room sane, and as Blondie suggests, hideaway in there when necessary!

  9. Unfortunately for me,
    I haven't been feeling
    well and have been in
    a sleepy mood, with NO
    time for sleep!! I just
    have to talk to myself
    and say GIRL, YOU HAVE
    TO MOVE THAT BALL DOWN
    THE FIELD! GO!!! Hope
    you aren't feeling over-
    whelmed for too long,
    sweet Kathysue! Have
    a happy {and relaxing}
    weekend!
    xx Suzanne

  14. Kathysue,
Fun post - I relate. I've been ignoring my closets, laundry roon, and other cleaning projects all summer and fall. We had our first frost and freeze last night,so the time I've been spending outside can now be focused inside.

Thanks for leaving a note on my last post. Have a wonderful weekend. Rita

  16. I hear you! I feel this often, since we are constantly working on another portion of the house! I am battling with the love of remodeling and the need for relaxation! When I feel like this it's usually because I need some ME time...so I do something for ME...mostly bake something sweet and bad for me and enjoy the heck out of it!

  17. That happened to me today. We got home last night from our trip and things look a little tired around the house. Time for Fall cleanup I guess!
