Blogger's Home Tour & What Is Going On At My House!




It’s Monday, and this is what is going on around my home today!


The fabric came in for my summer pillows. Here it is on my kitchen table all rolled out…..

It is even better than I was expecting! The scale is larger and the variation in the shades of blue is perfect for my family room. I am one happy girl!!

Now for the placement of this large print!??? The only way to tell is to wrap the fabric around the pillow form. A little messy looking but it gives me a good idea to which placement will be best……..

I already have a favorite! Next step is to take it to my upholsterer. I have a little addition I am adding to the pillow, but I have to save that for a little surprise in the reveal.

The other thing that is going is the sailboat blue print is being framed. I am suppose to pick it up this week. It is similar to the blueprint pictured below……….

    Hi Kathysue! I like both pillow sides--maybe A is more my fav? Terrible for a designer not to have an opinion on this one. LOL!

    Love your summer pillows...so fresh and crisp and pretty! I like both sides but am slightly leaning towards A. but you cannot go wrong with either, I just love it!

    My vote is for B, I like the way the vine winds around on the left hand side. The term that comes to mind is asymmetrical and thanks to "spell check" I was able to write it!
