It took me two tries but I found mine and 25 years later he still gives me squiggles in my stomach when I see him across the room. I consider myself very lucky to not have to worry about finding a good man as many women do according to everything I read. Looks like you had a wonderful vacation.
Girl...you are definitely one of the lucky ones :) Gonna be catching up here as I have been so busy with my charity project and my "paying jobs"...haha
I love your story. I found my husband at 16, we dated 6 years, then have been married for 37.. he is still the love of my life as well. We are so blessed aren't we? Im enjoying your blog so much! Have a great weekend. xo Nancy Powellbrowerhome.com
That is so sweet, and you are indeed a great looking couple. I'm one year ahead of you. Celebrated our 47th on the 4th of Sept. Congratulations and may you celebrate many more.
That is a very sweet picture of Doug. Nice picture to cherish for you. Also, love the picture of the two of you. Great memories of Paris for you. I am so happy for the both of you.
This brought tears to my eyes! What a lovely post! I found my sweetie 20 years ago and can't imagine life without him! Isn't the Eiffel Tower amazing when it sparkles every hour!
I met mine true love aged 17, was engaged on my 20th birthday and have been married 27 years and I, like Diane Haynie, still feel the squiggles! But surely you can't be 62, that must be your age 46 not years married. You both look gorgeous. Maybe though if you are 62, that is what being in LOVE in PARIS does for you. Congratulations.
You two look great after 46 years together. What are the chances? One in three that a marriage lasts twenty years. One in five that it lasts forty. You're beating all statistics. Congratulations and happy days ahead.
You two are adorable together. I found my honey at 16 years of age, too! =)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend! XO ~Liz
