While treasure hunting this week with Terri from La Dolfina we wandered into Goodwill and there he was!!!
I hesitated for a split second, and then after closer examination realizing he had one of my favorite patterns a Greek Key, and a white milk glass stopper, he was mine!!!
I would like to introduce you to my new Greek decanter……….
I put him on the sink to take his picture, but he is going to reside on the edge of the tub. I think the full wall of Carrara marble behind him and the white porcelain tub beneath him is a great backdrop.
So, dear readers where do you think he should go? On the tub or on the sink?

I think he looks great on the tub. It's like he has always been there! Fill him up with bubble bath!
ReplyDeleteWow, he does look fantastic on the tub---just beauteous!
ReplyDeletePS It would be great for holding bath salts !
ReplyDeleteI like him on the tub, too. It is hard to believe someone dropped him off at GW. An amazing find, and perfect for Kathysue! Hugs, Jeanette
ReplyDeleteTub gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteYes...very elegant. Perfect for this spot!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love Greek Key, too. Concerned about glass at the tub on a narrow ledge for safety issues, however.
ReplyDeleteLoving him in the tub!! Happy weekend ~

Well I hate to be a party pooper but I like him on the sink!!
ReplyDeleteI just want your bathroom, Kathysue!! :) He's great, too.
ReplyDeleteLove it in the tub, but I'm afraid it will slide into the shower? What about on a bookcase? I also think it would be fabulous as a flower vase minus the cork! Hope you are having a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe tub - it's so striking and when anyone walks down your hallway, they will see it!
ReplyDeleteThe tub! It's so striking and when one walks down your hallway, they will see it!

ReplyDeleteWell, I think I agree with everyone else, Kathysue...the tub! It's so pretty...as is your toile bathroom! Love seeing it again! Happy weekend...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteGoing opposite of the majority and saying the sink.
ReplyDeleteCathy
I always have to be different - I kinda like the sink. Can you place it on the counter opposite the faucet? But I do like the idea of using it to hold bath salts, etc. I think either way - you scored!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteOn the tub for sure - he stands out so nicely against the light marble, and he doesn't have to compete with the wallpaper for attention :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, he looks amazing either place!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of filling him with bubble bath!
You're a terrific treasure hunting partner!!!
xo
Oh Kathysue...
ReplyDeleteI just had another idea...
how about behind the toilet between the cottons balls and Q-tips? It might be too much but it could look amazing.
Oh, how fun! I vote tub!! Hope you are having a great weekend, Sweetie! xo
ReplyDeletelove your new piece especially in your gorgeous bathroom!
