When you think about it our homes porch is the first “Welcome” our guest will receive from us.
My porch is pretty small, but that does not stop me from trying to make it welcoming for my guest and myself.
Are you ready for a little more black and white?
Instead of my Spring pink I add bright Christmas red and lime green.
The little lamp light is always on. I love it at night time, you can see the reverse pattern through the shade. For a night shot you can go to the post I did on my porch earlier in the year, here.
When it is warm enough I sit in this little corner and enjoy my morning coffee.
This wrought iron planter hangs on the side of my door and it has been a lot of fun over the years filling it with a variety of plants.
I hung three wreaths on my door. I used all fresh greenery and pinecones and of course I had to add one touch of black and white with a satin ribbon at the top.
A Little Peek Inside!
Welcome to my home!!! Wishing You and Yours a very Merry, Merry Christmas!
Kathysue
Hi Kathysue,
ReplyDeleteYour home is as lovely on the outside as it is on the inside. I just love your decor on the glass door. I have double glass doors and just can't seem to get them right.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
hugs

ReplyDeleteDearest Kathysue,
ReplyDeleteYour entrance door is very warm and welcoming! With the live plants to the right (lucky you in California!) and the triple wreath makes it look so invitingly green for the Christmas season.
Enjoy your inside now, you can relax after a great job done!
