In my last post I gave you some ideas on how to create a summer look in your homes.
Today I am going to share with you some images of rooms that say.....
...... “S-U-M-M-E-R!”
Notice the display on the shelves and the mantel. Great pillow choice for a summer look.
The rough wood of the coffee table reminds me of the color of driftwood.
A simple shell display on the shelves makes each shell more important.
Good choice in painting the back of the shelves a darker color so the white shells show up!
Baskets always add a great textural element to any room, but especially in a summer room!
By adding a small ocean inspired piece of art, this setting becomes Summerized!!

Hi Kathysue,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words on my blog post. I always enjoy your posts.
I love the mint green walls in the first picture. I just painted one of my client's daughter's room in this color and it came out fresh and cheery. Really livable.
Hope you have a great week,
Amy
These all make us want to kick off our shoes and enjoy a glass of rose! Summertime and the livin' is easy...

Love how fresh and breezy it all feels...reminds me of being near the water and/or beach. Love a light colored room and agree baskets are always a good idea!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kathysue! The pop of black in each room gives another dimension!
