Are You Ready For Some COLOR In Your Life?

 
 Have you all noticed it yet? COLOR!!! 

Thank goodness color is coming back in a big way in design.






It has never left my world, and there will always be those that stick to neutrals, which make beautiful rooms, but this girl has to have happy Spring-like color in her life.



Even in a neutral room we are starting to see pops of color added in accessories. We all know that adding color in our accessories is the quickest and least expensive pick-me-up for a room

I don't normally advertise on my blog, but from time to time I find a product that I really love, and I will always share it with my readers.



 

Recently I received an email from Lamps Plus showing me a new program they have at their stores and online. It is called...



I was immediately impressed with all the options this program  gives the homeowner when choosing a lamp for their home.

Just look at all the color choices there are for lamp bases, it looks like you are visiting a paint store display of color chips,  doesn’t it?


 

You will notice many of the colors are from Pantone and Sherwin Williams. 

It looks like Lamps Plus has made it easy for us to match, and coordinate our lamps to our rooms in our homes.

It doesn’t stop with just the lamp base they also offer lampshades to go with their lamp bases……

This lamp base is just one of three styles you can choose from, they even have a floor lamp base.

Notice the fun, current patterned shade that matches? You can get plain white, or three other patterns to choose from….

I was so impressed by this program at Lamps Plus, I had to share it with my readers. 

I know this is going to be a very successful program for not only them but all of us designer types that want the perfect colored lamp base to go in our rooms.

    I do appreciate the use of pops of color though in my house it doesn't really work. Maybe a pool house down the road, would be fun to do in bright blues and greens.....lamps plus has all kinds of neat things happening, I was looking for sconces and was amazed at the variety!!

    I'm definitely ready to add some more colour in my home. Lately, I'm drawn to blues and purples together. It reminds me of a gorgeous sunrise. I'd like to introduce the colour scheme using smaller, decorative items like an elegant arrangement of blue and violet hydrangeas, or perhaps in watercolour inspired toss cushions.

    I'm so envious - we have nothing like that here! Oh to be able to buy a lamp in a beautiful shade like that. You'd have to get it custom made here and it would cost a small fortune.
