FOUR VERY EASY DESSERTS For Thanksgiving Dinner

Since Thanksgiving is such a special Family Holiday we all serve our family favorites, but sometimes we need a few fillers, or something to shake it up a bit.

Dessert
I don't like to be stressed like the image above, so I
like to have recipes on hand that don’t take a lot of time, effort, or cause a lot of stress. However they have to be guaranteed to be delicious.

When I set up my dessert bar I like to have something served warm, something chocolate, something with fruit (Mom’s apple pie), and something with lemon.

I made this first dessert last year, and it was a big hit. The upside of this dessert is it simmers away in the crock-pot so your home smells yummy.

CROCK-POT PUMPKIN PUDDING

YOU CAN FIND THE RECIPE HERE!

OOEY GOOEY HOT FUDGE PIE

It is not exactly a pie, a brownie, or a cake so what is it? You will have to try it yourself and decide.

One thing for sure it is so easy to make, and yummy topped with vanilla ice cream.

If you bake it ahead of time you can  zap it in the microwave after it is plated to warm it up so the dollop of ice cream will slowly melt before serving it to your guest.

LUSCIOUS LEMON DELIGHT

I have personally made this, and it is so delicious, and extremely easy to make. I promise you will thank me later!!! Just click on the source below the image.

And An Extra Little Something, Just Because:

There is one more fun little treat my friend Barb at The Everyday Home blog shared with me and her readers.

It is beyond easy, and sounds delicious. I have not personally tried this, but Barb says it is wonderful, and if Barb says it I believe it!!!

Pumpkin Butterscotch Pecan dip!

I promise this is as easy as they come and you dip gingersnaps into the dip. I know the kiddos in the family would love this one! You can go to The Everyday Home by clicking HERE!!!

Aren’t you excited!! Good Food, Good Family and now some Really Good Desserts!?

Let me know if you have had any of these before and what you thought of them. Also please tell us all of any Easy to make goodies you have planned!!

  1. I am in heaven with all of this. That first one, the crock-pot...does it matter what size crock-pot you have? Mine is really large.

  6. Kathysue,
Thank you for the yummy recipes. I will be making the crock-pot pudding but have a question: Does it make enough? Seems like a small can of pumpkin?
    Thanks, Donna
