We have all heard, or read this saying before. When we graduated from High School or College,or when we got married, someone might have said this saying too us.
All those eventful days were a long time ago for me, but today for my sweet hubby, and me it applies again!
As of today, my sweet hubby is officially retired!! He has worked hard for our family and has been a wonderful provider. Not just monetarily, but he is our, “ROCK.”
He has conducted his life with honor in all aspects, and he is a man to be honored, and respected.
He is a person I wish I could be more like.
I feel truly blessed to be able to enter this next chapter in our lives together.
We have already had an amazing journey, not always perfect, not without heartache, or sacrifice at times, but always filled with love and devotion to each other, and our family.
Gone are the days of schedules and alarm clocks…….
Kathysue and her sweet Hubby will be doing more of this, whenever possible…………
We will Be:
“Enjoying The Process!”
As Much As Possible
Oh Kathysue, I am so happy for both of you and this is such a special day. Congratulations!!! Enjoy every moment. Hugs, Marty

Hi Kathysue
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Doug and wishing him a joyful next stage in his life.
When I told my Doctor that my husband was retiring, he looked at me with concern and said: "Remember you married him for better or worse, but not for lunch".
Enjoy your weekend Kathysue
Helen xx
OH girl...congratulations to your sweet husband!!! My husband retires next June and I know he is really looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your dear hubby, KathySue! I know you must be so excited. I hope you have a wonderful time and can travel a bit and enjoy every moment of these upcoming years.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby took early retirement a few years ago but went back to school to be a pastor and then back to work. It was quite an adjustment but we made it. He will probably work about 3 or 4 more years. I quit in November of last year and have been so busy that it is crazy. xo Diana
Congratulations...may you enjoy many beautiful moments together...To me, when my hubby retires (has a long way to go)...I think my favorite part of the day would be in the mornings...him taking his time, planning the day...just enjoying the sunrise....and not having to rush to start a day of work...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sentimental post!
Wow..big news indeed. Congrats, may this next chapter be one filled with all kinds of wonderful things.
ReplyDeleteA big congratulations to the two of you. How lucky you are that you both get to take this new journey together. Hugs and kisses.

Mine will retire probably in eight years to get back what we lost in this economy. He would have been retiring a lot sooner. For the last three weeks he was here all the time after his back surgery and I kind of got used to it, but he went back part time this week and I think full time next week, not sure.
ReplyDeleteY'all enjoy your fun time together now. Nice not to set the clock.
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and your husband! I can say from experience that retirement is one of the best times of our lives. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteBabs
congrats...we should be following suit in the next year or so. Will be fun to "learn" from your experiences.
