Who can forget my coloring of the egg shells……..
I did all of that to get this………….
And this…………..
This……..
I used Irish moss, white star Isotoma ground cover and wheat grass to fill all of the yellow eggshells. The center urn has fresh yellow daffodils and white daisies with lime centers. The two side urns have Irish moss in them. I kept the side urns simple in order to have a place for the eye to rest. I originally had planned to have all three urns with flowers but realized that would just have been too busy looking. I also scattered a few daisy heads on the mirror. I still have to put down the silver ware, white linen napkins and bring in the extra chairs and then it is done!!!
One last picture of my Entry table and a bouquet of pink roses and Alstomeria …………
I have the bible opened to the story of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. I always want to represent the true meaning of this wonderful family holiday that we call Easter. I hope you have enjoyed the little tour into a part of my world.

SO fresh and pretty Kathysue! The yellow and green are just wonderful. The use of eggshell flowerpots seems rampant in Blogland this year, but you and are the only ones I've seen who were nutty enough to dye them! I don't know about you, but I made a mental note to remember to buy JUMBO eggs next time!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of the open Bible- just a perfect reminder and I am going to make note of that for our family. have a joyous, blessed Easter
