Styl'n On A Sunday

Adding some new pieces to my Spring wardrobe is always fun for me. I was in need of a few Spring/Summer dresses and I actually found some that I like.

I already showed you this cute little number…..

I am really going to enjoy wearing this on our vacation this year.

Here is another little dress that I am going to enjoy wearing…….

The length of the dress is just barely above my knee so I am totally comfortable in this, and it has pockets, that is a real bonus for me.

TIPS FOR THE DAY

FYI: the best spot for a hemline to hit is the area of the leg where the  side of the knee goes in slightly.

Another tip:

Do you remember the purse pictured above?

straw purse
It is a vintage straw clutch I found on etsy. It is going to go with so many of the pieces I already have. I love to add a little of the unexpected to my outfits and this fits the bill.

I have one more dress coming my way. I am not sure if I will keep the green or the navy yet….

I wouldn’t wear these accessories with this outfit, they look a bit contrived to me.

I will let you know what I decide and how I will accessorize them.

The feminine silhouettes that are being featured this season are so nice to see again.

All of the above dresses have a soft pleating vs. gathering so the dresses lay flat to the body making them look more slimming and attractive.

If you love this look as much as I do, BODEN is the place for you. I have ordered numerous pieces from them and have yet to be disappointed in what I have received. I highly recommend them.

Have you added any fun new pieces to your Spring wardrobe?

  2. I love that second one from the GAP. I don't really thing I need a new summer dress unfortunately, but I like that it has open pleats rather than gathers so it lies flat, as you said.
